Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 March 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Velobooker mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Dragan Jovanović ("we", "us", "our"), a registered autónomo in Spain.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Velobooker is a cycling tour management platform that allows organisers to create multi-day group rides and participants to join them. Features include daily route briefings, weather forecasts, expense splitting, media sharing, and integration with third-party services such as Strava and RideWithGPS.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account Registration

  • You may sign in using a third-party provider (Google, Strava, or RideWithGPS). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your third-party accounts.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited communications

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

6. User Content

"User Content" means any data you upload, submit, or share through the Service, including photos, videos, GPX files, expense entries, and tour information.

  • You retain ownership of your User Content.
  • By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service — for example, displaying your photos to other members of the same tour.
  • You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the necessary rights to share it.
  • We may remove User Content that violates these Terms.

7. Tours

7.1 Organisers

  • Tour organisers are responsible for the accuracy of tour information (routes, dates, descriptions).
  • Organisers may invite or remove participants from their tour.
  • Velobooker does not verify the safety, legality, or suitability of any tour route. Route planning and safety assessment are entirely the organiser's responsibility.

7.2 Participants

  • By joining a tour, you acknowledge that cycling involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, injury, and property damage.
  • You participate in any tour at your own risk. Velobooker is not a tour operator and does not organise, supervise, or assume responsibility for any cycling activity.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Strava, RideWithGPS, Google, and OpenMeteo. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and policies:

  • Strava Terms of Service
  • Strava API Agreement
  • RideWithGPS Terms of Service
  • Google Terms of Service

We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or content. Third-party services are provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We exclude all liability for any consequential, special, punitive, or indirect damages arising from your use of third-party services.

You may disconnect any third-party provider at any time from your account settings.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
  • "Velobooker" is our trademark. You may not use it in any manner that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our permission.

10. Fees and Subscriptions

  • Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Details of available plans and pricing will be published on our website.
  • If you purchase a subscription, you agree to pay the applicable fees. We will notify you of any price changes in advance.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free features at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
  • We are not liable for the accuracy of weather forecasts, route data, elevation profiles, or any other information provided through the Service.
  • We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in any cycling tour organised through the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at hello [at] velobooker.com . Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy .
  • We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the Service.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, and 14 survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

If you are an EU consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, including your right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
